So as Al Shank Insurance enters its’ 80 year in business we celebrate the company(s) we keep. We have represented Employers Mutual Casualty Insurance since the 1960’s. They were formed April 24th, 1911 to provide worker’s compensation insurance to Iowa manufacturers. They now have one of the best websites and loss control services that they offer insureds access too. Although licensed in all 50 states they have become a major midwestern market for schools and municipalities and their associated organizations.

We use them to cover 6 school districts including USD 480 as well as the City of Liberal and their insurance needs. They have some very unique programs including boat dealers, wholesalers, equipment dealers, banks, small contractors, breweries and wineries, telecommunications and on and on. They have been a good partner for us and we look forward to many more years with them. They are one of the few markets we represent that have maintained a branch in Wichita so they are “local” and understand SW Kansas and the risk we face.
